Does anyone know if you do this online whether you will have trouble doing transactions at a local branch later?

I know some banks have restrictions like that, I couldn't find anything on the chase website about it.

For Chase, it doesn't matter where or how you open the account, you can use all online and walk-up services with the Access Checking.

What are the options for direct deposit? Does a paypal or amazon payments transfer count? Other ideas? My employer does not offer direct deposit. TIA

There is no hrd pull when you open a checking account with Chase.
They will ask for SSN just to verify the information (soft pull).

There may be tu because of the terms. i remember when i opened a chase account 3 years ago for a similar cash offer it was much easier to satisfy the requirements. and the monthly fee used to only be around 5 bucks.
now is much different.

I opened an account like 7 months back. I bought a coupon off ebay for 8 bucks and used it for the $200 bonus.

The coupon did not have any direct deposit requirements and i got the $200 deposited in the account probably in 5 days. I recently closed the account too.

EDIT: I still see there are some coupons on ebay with no direct deposit requirement.

Anyway to get this code without an existing account?
