Looking to replace a couple of our bath fans with one [homedepot.com]of these four units. We have the standard fan only builder grade units currently installed. How easy is it to remove and replace? Thanks!

Seems pretty easy, same as swapping out a fan/light or anything else. Turn off power, unhook, hook up new fan. It gets slightly more complicated if you have to enlarge or reduce the hole.

Real quick question, without looking it up first. If the existing fan doesn't have a light, would I need to add additional wiring to upgrade to a fan with a light? I wouldn't think so, but I had to ask.

Depends what they ran to the spot initially, probably not.

I see 140CFM is the highest....I want something 200+ CFM...I hate the fog after shower and the smell after pooping.

MOST of these have a way where you can piggyback the light into the fan or vice versa. So when you turn the fan on the light will turn on too.

For a tiny hall bath, I assume an 80CFM would suffice?

I think the one I have is original to the 1978 build...so anything would pretty much be an upgrade at this point.

You dont know, back then they make their stuff strong and not energy efficient, so it might be stronger than the 80CFM. Depending on your vent network, 80CFM might not be strong enough to eject the shower mist.

Unfortunately I think it's on it's last legs. You can barely tell it's on when flipping the switch. Not a lot of showers are taken in there yet, so my main concern is potential...odor.
