FWIW, I just heard a string of audio of the British assailing or mocking Romney. Even from conservatives in the UK. This was such a stupid gaffe and should make people realize that this guy has ZERO diplomatic skills nor any foreign policy experience. At least Obama had an affable personality and could turn on the charm to make up for potential inexperience. Romney doesn't even have that. Next thing you know it, he'll be giving chancelor Merkel a fricken back rub.

He could be giving a DVD box set as a gift to the Prime Minister (when in return getting a pen box carved out of the sister ship the the one the Oval office desk is made out of), talking over the UK national anthem, refusing the offer to keep in the White House the bust of Winston Churchill on loan from the UK government art collection, or putting the wrong year, by 3 years, when signing the Westminster Abbey guest book.

enough people have named the DVD stuff but I'll add that Obama said he was going to adopt a rescue dog after he became president. He then got a dog from a breeder instead (I won't go into the ramifications of that here unless you *really* want to know)

May not be big issues to anyone other than me and my circle of friends but he certainly paid a price for them (which was my original point)
