the price looks good but there are no reviews on this thing. Anyone have experience with proscan TV's/monitors or do you know of any reviews?

Both my father and my brother bought the 32" LED Proscans for bedroom TV's when it was on sale for $250. They said it's not the best but it's not bad, good enough for the bedroom. Proscans used to be the high end brand of RCA but it's obvious they're now on the more value end of the spectrum. They've both had them for close to a year and a half now and they're still doing fine. The picture is decent and they love the low energy consumption. They mentioned that the menu could be more straightforward.

Edit: They've had it for a year now.

Proscan isn't too horrible. For the price it is good.

It's only 60Hz, but again it's cheap.

Considering nothing is filmed above 60hz, this isn't a problem.

Horrid contrast. Won't last. Unknown company. No reviews anywhere. Be warned. Looks like an expensive mistake /:

Edit; bought one anyway :/

You do realize that contrast ratio between manufactures is not the same? Everyone has a different way of measuring contrast ratio. It's not important.

And a higher contrast doesn't give you "vibrant colors;" it's the difference between black and white.
