the opening ceremony is over....you watch a replay of it in lots of different ways here in the US now...

Any suggestions for watching replays on xBox Live? I don't have cable or Hulu Plus or Netflix. TV antennas don't work in my area.TIA

I watch the Olympics for free on Cox HD, we don't have cable with Cox Cable, but we do have Cox Internet and we get free HD NBC on our HD t.v. on channel 1007.

Did you get in on the currently running Dashboard Beta? That has IE9 on it now...if not...you can run the Today Show app...that is on NBC and they run a ton of stuff every morning. You will not get to watch the full thing but you will get a couple hours of coverage.

yes, I felt the same. It was more of an epic drama on live stage rather than showing some exclusive stuff which may surprise the viewer. Without a doubt Beijing opening ceremony was awesome.

It was totally stupid act of showing princess flying into the stadium

yep i remember bejing was spoken for months. but quite honestly chinese govt went out of its way and overspent coz they wanted to create an impression in the world. but the english are probably suffering from the meltdown of their neighbors with the euro.

beijing ceremony totally shocked me with the surprise, but london ceremony felt like 20th century ceremony drama with virtually no technology use on this grand stage where the whole world is watching it. I was totally bored within an hour after it started

yep with their ancient paul mcartney and crappy brit pop. i dont think the english have invented anything for some time now.

to think of danny boyle choreographed that set piece of bond with the queen. maybe beckham should have chucked some underwear into the crowd

I didn't think it cost $15billion but I was thinking it was way more than $100 million
