Survey Popup
What is this. Slid down my page like a wet gummy worm on a movie screen. Is it SD sponsored?

My computers clean, its always clean. I'm the systems admin and this is my work pc...

No, we don't sponsor any sort of popup ads, as far as I'm aware. If you see it again, try to screenshot the ads being displayed on the page - it's possible one of them is doing something we don't allow and needs to be blocked from google ads

I did screen shot it in my first post. I googled it and lots of people get it. What company do you use to count/audit your page views?
Do you use comScore? Edit for picture of blockable item. You guys must be using comscore. They have many tracking metrics and the survey is one of them (I believe).

I cleared all my cache, browsed around other sites monitoring all files from them...and as soon as I came to slickdeals.net bam all the scorecard tracking java scripts.
Edit. Its not being used on the mobile side of slick deals. Just the quantserve java script. So you guys use quantserve, google analytics, AND scorecard to track us? Last edited by PiratePenguin; 07-27-2012 at 01:34 PM.. |

I'll have to check with the admins; I don't believe we're running anything like that but they're the ones who control the advertising

Thanks for reporting this promptly. We definitely do not tolerate popups and we were never informed there would be any.
As cgrady mentioned we have removed this tracking code. We were trying to use a third party to audit the other two codes to make sure they were accurate .
