I quite like the DC24 from the Target deal a while back. For reference, it was $220 with an $80 GC, but that isn't likely to be matched anytime soon.

Hmm I missed out on the Target DC26 deal (which turned out to be a mistake). Anyone know how Dyson refurbs are? Are they (a little or or a lot) beat up or are they pretty much good as new?

No mention of warranty? Clearly states 6 months through Dyson and 2.5 years through the seller.

Don't forget the DC41 Refurb on Ebay Daily Deals at the moment. I realize it's not Newegg, but some people may be looking for the DC41 upon entering this thread.

i have 3 refrb dyson vaccum, the look perfectly new, i have no clue why they don't have any scratch on it, mines are all beat up like a shopping cart at walmart

Really enjoying the DC26 from target. Great mobile vacuum with good power. Can be used on tile and rugs with ease.

These prices aren't that great. But if you're in a pinch and can't wait, then purchase.
Get a Squaretrade extended warranty to cover you for about 5 years. Dysons DO break down and it costs an arm and a leg to fix them. A $40 extended warranty it's worth its weight in gold with these mechanical prone to failure machines. For any money, Miele beats Dysons hands down. You compare that overbuilt Mercedesesque Made in Germany machine to a Dyson in build quality and long term performance to even a DC41, it's like night and day. Check out the Miele S7 on Amazon for reviews and Youtube comparisons against Dysons. Awesome machine! |

I dont get it, what on these actually break? I have my old yellow DC07 for over 5 years and my ex wife still has the DC07 thats aroung 7 or 8 years old now. I've had long haired dogs all but the past year where I did vac 3 times a week since I had small kids on the floor I kept it clean enough to eat off of between constant vac and brushing the dogs.
My only complaint is how hair tangles around the brush so easily. I haven't looked into newer ones much but I cant imagine a decent fix for that LOL Of course I'm a mechanical guy so I investigate if somethings not right. There's a couple spots that can clog if I'm stupid and try to suck things up I should use my hands to pickup.. There's a couple spots that over a really long time dirt hardens on so from time to time I scrape it off. For the guy who says they do break down I laugh since there's nothing in this that CAN break unless the user is completely stupid. miele has a bag... How much a year is that gonna ADD? I guess if you're actually looking MSRP VS MSRP the miele doesn't look too bad but does the miele go on target clearance? kohls coupons? nope so entry price of the miele is double THEN you spend more on bags so no thanks. Simply not slick its like seeing these "slick" toyota deals where they offer less than any other manufacturer because morons are like oh its toyota its built the best. How about that gas pedal? Ever since toyota began manufacturing in the US their quality has sank. US car assembly has always had more issues than the exact same car built in japan.
