I've been thinking about picking up NHL 2k11 the last few times it's been on sale, does it have updated rosters? Things like that annoy me if they aren't up to date.

for .99 it is something I can easily overlook ... they aren't real players, it's a videogame

yes depends how you like the controls + cpu play or advantage.
nba can be pretty good but nhl has its problems. also it goes on sale for .99/1.99 a few times a year...so waiting for 2k13/2k12 might be worth holding out.

Pirates if u played it and done it, unsure why to do it over and over again.

Civilization Revolution you pay $ and has ADS = SKIP IT unless you think they'll remove them from the many complaints/bad reviews = if you buy do leave bad review to Remove Ads!

I wouldn't hold out hope for a new version (of NHL) from 2k Sports as they didn't do a 2k12 version last year (for any platform) and likely won't again.
