off topic but need help from the PC community. Best buy told me, i had to buy my o8 hp laptop cddvd ide burner from HP only?? Im a noobo so i didnt know but it didn't sound correct. Someone dropped my PC and the door opened and the black spindle broke off. Can i buy a spindle from some part store? Can my ide burner ever upgrade to a sata internal replacement?or blue ray writer. Amy suggestions to fix my drive

6 months ago, I paid $115 shipped for both of these products: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...681112111 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...813130567 My case is tiny and silent. We've seen plenty of 4GB DDR3 for under $30 (I went with 8GB). I also went with a 64GB SSD, but with a HDD, this server would be close in price. So AFAIK, more cores, more ram, a slimmer, quieter and much less powerful server can be had for a little bit more money. I am extremely impressed with the E-350 APU, in both performance and efficiency. What exactly makes this a "server", ECC ram? I think that's been proven pointless (not sure). Otherwise, $140 is still a damn good deal for a built box shipped, for a lot of general purposes, but for a hardware enthusiast you might look around. |
