They will charge tax if they have a B&M store in your state (they likely do), but if you want it sooner rather than later (and they truely do have it in stock) this might be the fastest way of getting it. It seems to be sold out everywhere and B&H (next best option if you don't live in NY) is quoting a Sept 1 date for their next shipment. I ordered it from both (as it is a B-day present) and will cancel (or refuse delivery) on whitchever doesn't ship first. Hope it ships Monday!

Just ordered one, thanks OP. I went to Staples about 30 mins ago and the cashier said they only had the 8GB then. As she informed the manager to bring one out, the manager told me he only had 1 left and a gave it to someone who apparently got there the same time that I did. I was a little ticked off, but to make the long story short, just buy online and save yourself the headache.
