On those performance socks, what's the breakdown of types of materials? What % cotton, polyester, etc?

I think those performance socks are different than the finishline socks listed here.

figure there are a little more then 2,500 Marshalls and TJMaxx stores... figure each store stocks 1,000 irregular socks, figure the stores turn over time is 30 days (that is every 30 days they sell 1,000 socks). SO...

the sell 2,500 x 1,000 x 30 = 30 MILLION !!!!!!!!!!!

Now you think the manufactures make 30 MILLION PAIRS of socks every year (and I have not even included Ralphs or other off price retailers!!!)

I used to go to Wally's World and just buy the cheapest 6 pack of low cut socks for casual wear and dress socks for work. Then I got some GoldToe AquaFX moisture socks on clearance, which my wife has actually taken captive and wears constantly. I've never bought another pair of socks from Wal-Mart. Quality socks are soooo underrated. I actually paid more in the long run buying new socks every 3 or 4 months after my cheap socks were stretched and ruined from washing than I would have paying more for good socks every couple years. I always say, "Pay now or pay later," meaning you can pay for quality upfront or pay to repair/replace a cheaper, inferior product down the road.

Besides, good, high quality socks are so much more comfortable! I swear by GoldToe, but I bought some Dockers socks on final clearance that are also great. Get those name brand socks, baby! They're worth the money.

Is $14.00 a good price on the Elite socks? My kids love them for some reason.

went to marshalls and tjmaxx today looking for these great prices everyone keeps bringing up. no nike dri fit socks any where to be found so i asked for the manager at both places and they said they've never had them. only nike "performance" socks, which are just the regular ones.

What about these Dri Fit Socks at wallyworld. They seemed like good quality to me. Just bought them so not sure how they will hold up.
