APEX LE2612D 26" LED TV With DVD Player

This normally cost $285.70 from Amazon.com
But is on Clearance at Target for $115 plus Tax and Electronic Recycling Fee.

On another note the over the air signal grab on this APEX tv is awful.
Can't pick the basic channels like cbs, nbc, abc, kcal 9, and fox without having to get up and adjust the antenna every time you change the channel and even then the picture is not clear. Just a lot of pixelation/distortion and the sound stops.
Tried putting old dtv converter box but the picture does not come in hd and is extremely noticeable.
Any antenna recommendations?
Also who ever designed this remote is awful.
Can't change the channels or the volume with the 4 huge directional buttons in the middle, Instead have to use those tiny buttons on top which forces you to look at the remote whenever you want to do anything.

I saw this TV at a Target in Pasadena, CA yesterday but the price was $179. I would have jumped on this for $115.

Thanks so much. Been watching these for DD and I totally forgot today was electronics markdown day. I got one! Don't think they would last until 70%.

These have been $179 for a while at my local Target. I was waiting for another drop. I wouldn't get this as a main tv, but for a garage/fitness area, I'll jump all over this for $115!

Nice find!
Just grabbed one in Northridge, CA. Still a few left on the shelves if anyone in Los Angeles area is interested. This will be insurance for me in case my Vizio from Woot arrives all smashed up as they seem to lately. |

I wonder if this would be too big for the breakfast bar.
Edit: I got one from the Farmingdale, NY store with the 2 year warranty for $143.36 out the door. I didn't see any left by the TV area, but I can't say whether there are any others somewhere else in the store. I got a boxed one. I didn't see a display model on the wall. BTW... the sales guy said that he'd give me the 2 year warranty for $17.00, though it normally goes for $35. Was he BS'ing me? Last edited by Deal Explorer; 07-30-2012 at 10:25 AM..
