I got one of those last year. It was a great TV. Wound up selling it to some friends when I got the 46inch later last year...

I almost went and got one of these 26" Apex units, but I'm going to wait until I get a new larger TV for the living room. (The 50, or if by random chance that 60+...)

Last night I went to my local target(I have 3 within 20 miles and one within walking distance),

So as soon as I got home I let the wifey know I'd be right back.....ran to Target and found out they were out(even though they said limited availability) and he gave me the price.....$69.98


I almost passed out....had hime check the other stores and at the furthest one away, there were 3....I ran home(being the responsible hubby I am to let the wife know I was headed across town) and hoofed to the across town Target.

I got there, and looked around, found 2 and was going to buy them both......then asked the guy about the 3rd one and he thought they sold it...looked around some more and found 2 more for a total of four!

since I was going to do a return rebuy, I decided to use my regular card and my paypal card, and then use the "I wanna put this on my RedCard instead" for the return rebuy.

I bought one no problem, and then as I was ringing up the second one....none of my cards would work(farking fraud protection).....so after 3 phone calls and about an hour(super embarrassing, but worth it) I walked out with one, left one and put two on hold for me tonight.....

ran home to my neighborhood target to do the return rebuy and it was super smooth....he ended up trying to charge me the $123(after tax) again, but I stopped him and said the store itself had it for cheaper and the acting floor manager said yepp, and I walked out paying <$75.00 for this SD!!!!!!!!!!

Even at $115, I found this TV unusable with an over the air antenna. The tuner is not very good and didn't bring in very many stations. Also, whenever the signal broke up, the speakers made loud noises and the sound distortion was horrendous and made it unusable for me. I have 2 other LCD TV's and if the over the air signal breaks up, the speakers go silent so I know that this is just a poor design. I wish it would have worked better for me given the low price. I returned mine because of this.

If you're using it with a cable connection, it's a very good buy though. Good luck to you all!

The picture quality is average, not great. I have a 3 year old vizio 32" 720p which has a better pq than the apex. Speakers are tinny, and aren't that great either. Although that's common with tv's this size. For $115 you can't beat the price though.

Anyone able to find a code to control this tv using a Comcast remote? Tried all the ones listed for apex...No luck.
