Thoughts on buying a "refurbished" AV receiver on Amazon?

I got one of those that was listed in Like New condition from Amazon Warehouse Deals and it was defective right out of the box. Only got audio from the tuner. I set it up and switched all speaker wires over and when I went to run the Audyssey setup there was no sound from the speakers. I called Denon and they said to get my money back. Also Amazon Warehouse Deals aren't authorized retailers. I'll never buy a refurbed or used product from them again. |

For that receiver you're better off buying from accessories4less.com.
http://www.accessories4less.com/m...lay/1.html AC4Less is a an authorized Denon reseller and the unit comes with a 1 year mfrs warranty. It cost less there too! I've purchased a few items from them and have never had a problem. |
