anyone knows beer which self cools itself?

i always get warm beer when im in texas outdoors. its time they make that. besides the asia pac is bad/ they sell beer with ice

My thoughts exactly.

Although one of my grandfather's used to "eat" his beer with a spoon. He would let it freeze til it was slushy.

My other grandfather would drink it room temp. (which I would never do)

But this was 30 yrs ago

....do you only drink beer that you've just bought, and/or always have a fridge nearby. I run into the issue of keeping beer cool all the time. On any outdoors trip with several friends I'd have to keep several coolers loaded with ice, which depending on the weather could melt in as little as a few hours and need replacing. It'd be awesome to have beer in a self-cooling container that isn't cost prohibitive.

Brits still drink their beer room temperature. Apparently chilling it too much has a negative effect on the taste, or at least what they perceive the proper taste should be. I think it tastes like ass if it's not cold, but I'm not a beer snob. I like what I like.

is that the one where the lime floats up to the top when you open it?
