I have to agree - I'm in the market for a laptop, but sadly won't consider something with a resolution like this no matter what the price point because in the long run, the frustration of that resolution just isn't worth the savings.

P.S. The last deal I posted received downvotes because of "incomplete info" in the title, which is why I'm sticking to what they said.

Why upgrade it to an SSD and pay $200+ MORE for a 128gb or $400+ MORE for a 256gb when you can buy them for less than half of that, and have a spare HDD to slave on a PC etc??? Not to mention choice of SSD's (ie crucial M4 or Sammy 830)

I think intel hd 4000 is just a little better than amd's A8 6620g integrated gfx--so not nearly as good as true dedicated gfx gt 540. But even 6620g and intel hd 4000 can play games nicely(20-45FPS) at low-medium settings, so not too bad. But dedicated gfx will allow medium or high settings at smoother 30-60FPS.

I agree. Laptop I bought in 2000 has much better resolution that most today. They make money with lousy displays. Perhaps Apple's Iris display will light a fire under PC laptop makers. I'm waiting.
