I am not able to find a place to apply the ecoupon I am almost in the last page provided my credit card info and I could see only the order button but could not find the apply coupon. Please help

Can't speak personally about this backpack, but I am a Lenovo dealer and most of the business "Thinkpad branded" bags are made by Targus.

I also have this bag, and I agree that it is not very well made. That said, if you plan to use it occasionally, it works fine, and the padded compartment fits my 15.4 (4:3) lappy well, but I would not recommend it for most people in need of a bag. For kids, I would not expect it to last more than 1 school year.

Yes, I agree that those are good features, however the discomfort issue makes me pass. Plus, I wear glasses, so it would be especially uncomfortable.. That's the reason I returned the Sennheiser 202s a few years ago---very tight and uncomfortable, whereas the 201s are very light and very comfy. Hard to go wrong with the 201s when they're on sale for $13-14, unless you require substantial bass, which they don't have at all. I recommend them for music and movies


BTW, I only mentioned that the mic doesn't move because someone on that site reviewed these phones and stated it.

P.S. My 4 year old Dell Vostro 1500 comes with separate mic and headphone jacks. Is that what you meant with the Lenovos? I just assumed all Laptops came this way (this is my first one)

My official t420 comes with a single mobile style headphone and mic jack ... my personal hp has 2 headphone and 1 mic socket ... so it varies ... thats why at $30 it should have an adapter.

It is light, has in line vol control, has 3.5mm mobile compatible pin, adapter for 2.5mm pin used in cordless phones, and a spliter that allows it to be used with laptops with separate headphone and mic jacks. only missing is mute button on the headset.

Hope it came with extra pads---those type wear out fairly quickly. They look like the same kind that come on my $5 Koss from Walmart (no mic)

no extra pads, but they have stayed in good condition over the last 6-7 months of use. I use them for ~3-4 hours daily for official conference calls. No issues with voice quality on either end.

Lenovo always requires in person signature confirmation. A huge PITA for me, coupled with bad UPS service.

Maybe yours are stouter than the foam ones on the Koss. They look similar in the photo

Picked up a couple of their 10" sleeves when they were $4 from directlenovo.com on a previous occasion (mar 2011). Nicer than many basic nylon sleeves. I ended up giving them away when I was selling a couple of netbooks I had, and I regretted losing them. A little big for 10" tablet, but still close enough. The only other ~$5 sleeves I found to replace them weren't as nice and were on the small size (good for tablets, not for netbook 10").
In for two more of these.

Just cancelled the backpack order...should've read reviews first
