TF700T Transformer Prime Infinity + Keyboard Dock $608.99.

Decent price. I REALLY want this tablet, but was hoping to score just the tab for around $400 or slightly more. I guess I'll keep waiting for now.

I grabbed the 300 and am personally loving it. I use the dock religiously... has replaced a laptop for me completely.

Wish I had that hi-res display though...

Not slick at all. First of all, you will get the TF201 dock as there have been no proof of a TF701 specific dock actually existing. Considering the TF201 dock is going for $99 now, this is only retail price. I can speak from personal experience having bought both docks and had them side-by-side.

My advice would be to buy just the tablet and/or wait to see if an actual TF700 specific dock ever surfaces.

It is in fact $40 off retail. We can argue all we want (despite me not having a horse in the race) whether the 201 dock is different than the 700.

The truth of the matter is that Newegg has two different pages: One for the 201 and one for the 700. The 700 dock (which may in fact be a re-branded 201), retails for $149.99 on Newegg and competing sites.

So if someone is looking to get the TF700T + a TF700T dock, this is in fact a discount.

Just realize the TF201 dock is now on sale for $99 at BB (down from $149). So that alone kill this post. The TF700 32GB without dock is regularly priced at $499. So the total should be $598 at least for this week. Nevertheless, the TF700 specific dock is indeed more expensive although it seems to be identical to the TF201 dock.

why would anyone pay this much for a tablet? Stop buying something that can be manufactured for $30 at this price, you are driving up the market!!! You know the only thing you are using it for is slickdeals and facebook. How could a tablet be worth this much?

The 201 and the "rebranded" 700 docks are NOT the same. They both work, but the 700 is actually redesigned for the 700. Differences include weight, balance, slight color change, battery life, and a better fit.
