The Promotion begins August 1, 2012 and ends on August 30, 2012 (the "Promotion Period"). During the Promotion Period, Sponsor will award 100 pens every hour for 10 hours each day during 12:00:00 p.m. ET and 10:00:00 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") (each hour is a separate "Giveaway Period"). The Promotion will consist of a total of 300 separate Giveaway Periods and each Giveaway Period is its own separate and distinct promotion. Prizes will be awarded each hour based on a random time date stamp and those entrants will have the opportunity to receive one (1) BIC Atlantis® Ball Pen (the "Prize"). Limit one entry per person/email address per Giveaway Period. Limit one (1) Prize per person/e-mail address throughout the entire Promotion Period.

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to BIC USA Inc. (hereinafter "Sponsor") and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used to contact you if you are a potential winner.

1.ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of BIC USA Inc. ("Sponsor"), its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate families and household members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and/or "step") of each are not eligible to participate or win. U.S. federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited taxed or restricted by law.

2.HOW TO ENTER: Log on to www.facebook.com/bicpenpals during the Promotion Period, click on the Pen Giveaway tab. Users will be required to accept the application and permissions to continue. If you haven't already done so, "Like" the BIC Pen Pals application page. Continue to the BIC Pen Pals application landing page, where users must accept the Official Rules to continue. Complete the Entry Form including first and last name, address (no P.O. boxes accepted), city, state, zip code, email address and date of birth, accept the Official Rules and click "submit." Based on a random time date stamp, 100 entrants during each Giveaway Period will receive a "Congratulations" message communicating that they are the recipient of a free BIC Atlantis® Ball Pen. Limit one entry per person/email address per Giveaway Period. Limit one (1) Prize per person/e-mail address throughout the entire Promotion Period. If entrant does not receive a "Congratulations" message, then on the next visit during a later Giveaway Period, the entrant will be required to accept the Official Rules, but will not be required to complete the Entry Form as their entry information will be remembered by the Sponsor.

The Sponsor's computer is the official time keeping device for this Promotion. No other attempted methods of entry will be accepted. Entry via automated programs, bots or third-party services is prohibited. Entries by the same person in excess of the limit stated herein will be void. Entries submitted will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. By entering the Promotion, entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judge(s), which shall be final, binding and conclusive in all respects. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. All entry information will be held and used in accordance with these Official Rules and the Sponsor's Privacy Policy located at www.facebook.com/bicpenpals.

3.WINNER DETERMINATION/ODDS: 100 eligible entrants will be awarded a Prize based on a random time date stamp during a Giveaway Period (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). Odds of winning a Prize depend on the time/date an eligible entrant enters and the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. All Prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received.

4.NOTIFICATION: By participating in the Promotion, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for any change in entrant's mailing address, and/or email address. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, declines to accept the Prize, or if the notification that the Sponsor sends is returned as undeliverable, or the potential winner is otherwise unreachable for any reason, the Prize will be forfeited. Winner confirmation is subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rules. All Prizes will be delivered within 6 to 8 weeks of notification.

5.PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"): Each winner will receive one (1) BIC Atlantis® Ball Pen in blue or black ink (ARV: $0.84 each). The total ARV of all prizes for each Giveaway Period is approximately $84.00. The actual total ARV could vary based on the number of eligible entries received and Prizes awarded in any given Giveaway Period. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion including style, size and color. Taxes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner. Prizes are non-transferable or assignable; and no substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value. Any prizes are subject to change based on availability at time of fulfillment.

6.PUBLICITY RELEASE AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: Except where prohibited or restricted by law, winner's acceptance of prize constitutes winner's agreement and consent for Sponsor to use and/or publish each winner's full name, city and state of residence, photographs or other likenesses, pictures, portraits, voice, testimonials, biographical information (in whole or in part), and/or statements made by winner regarding the Promotion or Sponsor, worldwide and in perpetuity for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, trade and/or promotion on behalf of Sponsor, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised, including, but not limited to, print, TV, radio, electronic, cable, social networking sites or World Wide Web, without further limitation, restriction, compensation, notice, review or approval.

7.NO TAMPERING, RIGHT TO CANCEL AND MODIFY: Sponsor, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors shall not have any obligation or responsibility, including any responsibility to award any prize to entrants, with regard to: (a) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with or violate these Official Rules; (b) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer, human or technical error of any kind; (c) entrants who have committed fraud or deception in entering or participating in the Promotion or claiming the prize; (d) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (e) any inability of the winner to accept the prize for any reason; (f) if a prize cannot be awarded due to delays or interruptions due to Acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, weather or any other similar event beyond Sponsor's reasonable control; or (g) any damages, injuries or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from awarding, acceptance, possession, use, misuse, loss or misdirection of any prize or resulting from participating in this Promotion or any prize-related activities. 8.RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Promotion, entrants and Prize winners release and hold harmless Sponsor, and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, advertising and promotion agencies, Facebook and all others associated with the development and execution of this Promotion, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents and employees of the foregoing (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, actions, injury, loss, liability or damages of any kind whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, with respect to, or in any way arising from, participation in this Promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize including, but not limited to, liability for personal injury (including death) and property damage or loss.
