babiesrus.com/toysrus.com returns

I recently bought some cheap diapers from babiesrus.com. The shipping charges were $8 per diaper box (only 82 diapers per box). I could not add more than two boxes per order as they allow free shipping for shipping charges only up-to $21.Therefore, to get free shipping, I added some toys to make the total $75 thinking that I'll return the extra stuff to the store (I was wrong).

Now, I have found out that I can get only store credit if I return online ordered items to the physical store. I've to pay shipping charges if I send the extra items back to the online returns center.

My question is: Is there a way to return the extra items to the store and get money back instead of store credit?

That's an option but the money I'd loose doing this is equivalent to the return shipping charges.

I wish there was....Just take back the toys and hold onto the gift card for other stuff.
