T-Mobile- Nothing? I use them as my primary phone provider and have never had issues with thier Monthly4G ie "prepaid" plans.

at&t- Automatically assumes I'm a drug dealer. Called to attempt to get an old sim re-activated (been deactivated since May). Tells me they can't do that, and it's a dead sim already (T-Mobile can btw), and to buy a new one from a store for $25, or have them mail me one for $5 from sales, or if I "needed another way", I could always "buy a phone from a Walmart or Dollar General and use the sim from that..."

Look lady, just because I don't want to pay $25 for a damn sim card, and don't have the time to wait for it to come in the mail, does not give the fact that I'm poor or sketchy.

Dh has one for work. Some places don't allow camera phones.

Depends what I'm doing with it. I bought a prepaid SIM for traveling overseas. I don't use it often but it's there if I need it.

I'm usually calling in an order for a Big Gulp in NYC.

I think all prepaid phones have 24 hour mic recording and gps locators running sending the info straight to the feds. Part of the homeland security deal. I for one approve of this.

I used burner phones back in my political days. After pissing off my city commissioner, he had people tracking my calls to find out who in the city was leaking intormation to my team. Saved quite a few people from retaliatory action.

I have heard this as well and from a legit source

None. I spent most of my career on the phone (no not at a 900 number ) and am sick of talking on the phone. So since I rarely use it, a pre-paid phone is the best/cheapest option for me.
