Think you know how Coke thinks? If so, get your guess in for "When will the next Double Points Day (DPD) be?" Contest!
Here's the skinny:
1) Each date guess is worth 1 cap. A maximum of 5 guesses (5 caps) can be made by any one user. Caps only please, makes our life easier!
2) You may change the date you guess for an additional 1 (one) cap. However, the day you make the change cannot occur with 96 hours of the new guess. I.E. if it is April 16th and you want to the change the date, the new date selected must be after April 20th.
3) In the event there is no winner during the selected period, the game will be extended by 2 weeks at a time. The decision to extend will occur 96 hours before the initial game period ends.
4) A maximum of 3 guesses may be placed on any one day. We will post a calendar with the availability and dates that are already reserved. Each date will have 3 slots: A, B, and C. The first person to choose the day will have slot A.
5. The initial buy in phase will be open to all from the start date until March 31, 2007. A player may choose any available date. April 1 and later, a new player entering the game must select a date at least 7 calendar days later than their date of entering the contest.
The contest will run from March 22nd to May 1st (12:01AM EST), 2007.
Prize payouts:
1st place - if won by one person - 70% of the pot
If 2 ppl win first place, spot A will have 40% and B will have 30%.
If 3 ppl tie for first place, spot A will receive 35%, spot B will receive 25% and spot C will receive 25%.
Participation prizes:
Each day/spot will receive a number and then we will pick a number from a hat. The winner(s) will be determined as whoever has the spot/date. These folks will receive the remainder of the pot.
For entry into the contest, please PM your guesses as to when DPD will happen to wildtama. Your cap codes for entry are to be PMed to djsapphire. If you send in a guess without an entry code, your guess will not be counted.

Little known fact: MCR Code consists of 3 groups of 5 symbols (obvious.) Name these groups A (Top Group), B (Center Group) and C (Bottom Group.)
These groups can be entered ABC (which is what people usually do,) or CBA. The other four combinations (ACB, BAC, BCA, CAB) do not work and
will come up as invalid.
