Looking for an iPhone 3gs under $100
eBay confuses me. so many jr. salesmen there, and I just want to go to a fairly reputable place (with a money back guarantee). any luck?

It's free at the cell phone store . . . or do you want a no-contract one? I think that for $100, you are going to be hard pressed to find one with a money back guarantee. If you're uncomfortable with ebay, consider scouring your local Craigslist for a used iphone 3gs.

Yeah, even on ebay you're generally between $150-200 for a 3GS - I think you're going to have to bump up your budget.

.99 cents With a 2 year contract and a $36 activation fee, the fee kills the deal for me

 You should sit down and calculate the cheapest iphone plan that you can have. It's $60 per month, which is $1,440 and that's with 300MB data and no unlimited texting. So, having a dealbreaker over a 2.5% difference is pointless. Considering that AT&T is the only US carrier with the iphone 3Gs, that sounds fine to me. I'm not saying that I agree with AT&T's $36 activation fee, but it's not iphone 3gs specific, and the OP needs this particular phone.
