coupon redirecting away from slickdeals site

when i click on this link in the thread, http://slickdeals.net/f/3116678-D...st41050772 shouldn't the link in the thread make me NOT navigate away from slickdeals website ie it should not take me away from the slickdeals site. it should rather open in a new tab?

It's working correctly. The link in the thread takes you to the product/site where the coupon is used. And for me that was in the form of opening a new tab.

Since that happened to be a referral post it is now spammed.

i am on chrome and being redirected to a new site. this is fine. everything is fine. but it loads on top of the slickdeals site ie it doesnt open in a new tab. isnt this not good since i want to remain on slickdeals and ideally the link should open in a new tab?

Example: when i click on the link korwater.com in this page, it loads on top of slick ie its making me move away from slick website?

you mean to say you want a user to load a website on top of slickdeals website thus diverting a user to go to another website? It currently is not opening in a new tab and loading atop slick. this is a terrible way of doing it imho. most sites who work on affiliate models will NEVER redirect a user to load on top of their OWN site. they will open the desired link in a new tab. but this is just my opinion, you guys are the bosses.

you will never see facebook let any link load on top of them if its a third party link.

For almost every link I click, I use the middle scrolly button. The middle scroll button will open links in new tabs. It's a habit I've gotten into, and is pretty handy!
