50"+ HDTV 1080p
Hi, I am looking to purchase a new television to replace a 5 year old Sanyo 42" that has served me well. The TV still works and I'm giving it to my mother since I'm upgrading.I have been looking around and feel that the ProScan 50" from Wal-Mart [walmart.com] has decent reviews. I do not have a sound system but for what I'm paying on the ProScan comparable to other TVs in its' class, I can afford to buy a sound bar. Please let me know if this is a deal or if I should invest more money on a similar item to get better quality/longevity. All opinions are valued, thanks in advance! |

Not sure who is making the panel for that, but i don't know if i'd trust proscan to last to long. Check out this Toshiba [frys.com] it's $500. Last edited by 1992; 08-01-2012 at 09:15 PM.. |
