I guess the Nexus also bakes your kids muffins? ![]() ![]() ![]() The Nook App stores has access to games such as Angry Birds. And the Nook comes with Netflix PRE-INSTALLED! NO NEED TO ROOT!!!!

I don't think I mentioned netflix; the kid saw an ipad and dad doesn't want to spend that much so he's considering a nook tablet. An unrooted nook tablet is simply not comparable to an ipad (hence: dissapointed child); a stock unrooted nexus on the other hand is comparable. (BTW- I'm not going to get into a pissing match over the android vs ios thing. I like them both, and I don't care what your opinion on that is). |

Depending on what form on CM(x) you're installing on the Nook Tablet...it can be a pain in the ass and the community is not the greatest. If you're not a Developer I would stick to CM7 Albert Root Card. CM9 and CM10 installation good luck you will have alot of issues.

I felt I needed the CAPS, I don't want people getting the idea that this doesn't do what she wants without rooting the Nook. But thank you for taking time out to chime in.

However - Each of the four versions of angry birds is available on B&N and guess what - they charge you $2.99 APIECE - how much is it in google play? It's free. When it comes to other applications - practically everything in the BN "App Store" charges a significant premium for the same content which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for FREE. Plus there's more selection in the google play store than in the B&N store. |

It's nice that they gave it proper USB host support, but I would happily pay 16GB money for the 8GB version + and an internal SD slot. |

I really don't understand why people here have to argue like "little girls" about this NT vs N7.
IMHO the NT and N7 is like comparing apples to oranges. anyone educated (or somewhat smart with their money) would realize that aside from both being 7" price and feature list designate two different market/needs segment. btw: LOL at the morons that keep comparing $140 to 8gb N7 for $200. closer comparison is $140 to 16gb N7 @$250 (or $225). it's close to $100 difference. =================================
My days as a sales person @ bestbuy Customer: This stupid phone I bought last week won't work right Me: So it's the phone thats stupid and not you right? Customer: I'm looking for an easy way to access my media files with my laptop when I'm in the yard. Me: Sports Authority is having a sale on walking shoes. |

I keep getting different answers here and everywhere else..
-Does the NT have bluetooth? -Does it have TTS enabled? I need it to read me books and pdf files for my long commute, hopefully via bluetooth. I have a bad neck and cant sit for hours reading books -If the stock NT doesnt have it, will the root version have it? The kindle has this and this is the only reason I want to buy it. -Whats the benefit to boot from the SD card vs the stock? thanks |
