$100-$150 Visa giftcard with purchase of Sony VAIO T, S or L + Free PS3 for students!
Hey guys, I just came across this deal while looking for a laptop for college. Starting today until September 8th, you can get a $100 Visa gift card if you get a T, S, or L with Windows Home-Premium or $150 if you get professional ($50 upgrade for the T series so essentially free). I am really tempted to pull the trigger on a T series ultrabook, but don't know if I like the fact that it doesn't have a backlit keyboard. Anyway, let me know what you guys think.

Coupons that should be available: (note only one coupon per order)
I have called in multiple times to see if I could use 2 coupons, and haven't had any luck.
For college students or any grade?

Is the free PS3 offer still active? I'm a student and just ordered an S series on Monday, and the salesperson told me that that offer expired a couple weeks ago.
I think they only offer it on certain variations of each computer. At least that's what it looks like. I.e you need to get a T with the i7 and the 500GB drive, etc rather than the i5 and 320 which is what I want.
i was just reading the specs, and it says it has a backlit keyboard.
where do you see that?
There is also the extra 2, 5, 10% off for students. code is Campus--- , --- is corresponding %
oh wow, this deal keeps getting better and better.

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
Going to have to look into this some more. This maybe a better voice for me than the staples deal for 400. A little more $$ but 13", better looking computer, ssd and hd. Just need to see if the memory is upgradable.
I'm not that interested in the PS3 and Vita stuff, so I'm must looking at the 3, 5, 10% off ones.
The 10% are mostly S Series... I think I will go with the T Series wihich are 5% instead.
Also a good idea, instead of buying the 500 GB harddrive for the T-series, customize it instead from the 320 to 500 for $20. If you buy it straight without customize its at 30, so you save $10...
According to my calcs, if you get the Sony T i5 Professional 500 GB (comes with freshstart), with everything... the 5%, Discover cashback 5% and the $150 rebate, it should come out to be from $839.99 original to $608.00 in total with tax (mine was 70 something)
