Yes, prices are the same, but selection is usually really low in stores.

Today is the 1st Friday of the month so more stuff went on clearance today. Check 1st and 3rd fridays and 1st of the month for price changes for the best deals.

I've done very well purchasing at JCP best values - but I think their stock has taken a hit with this move so I don't know how long they will either still be good or still be using this pricing model.

I hope they didn't get rid of the best price policy. I hate using coupons, which is why i shop Walmart, no need to think or find coupons, just lowest price.

This store is strougling. It was more fun when having to wait for Tuesday for coupons and now I hear they are not doing coupons any more but having the price out on the floor. It is a good idea, but I don't think marketing works very well that way. But I stopped buying clothes so I haven't looked at the ads and in the store to check.

It's strange with clothes. Right after the housing market crash in 2008, I could go in my local ghetto mall and there were actually good clothes in JCP and likewise I could go to the wanna-be ritzy Macy's in the wanna-be affluent area nearby me and they had good clothes as well as their semi-ghetto Nordstrom store with actual good prices on the racks.

Things have changed. Nordsrom wants an arm and a leg for all their clothes, All Macy's stores suck, and the JCP I got some good shirts at no longer has good shirts on their sale rack, their sale racks are a lot smaller, and their marketing is beyond shabby.

I wish we had a closer outlet mall with a few good stores and Dillard's. I'd have to live in Arizona for that. Actually there's a Dillard's in stockton but who would even go there lol.
