i tried to use on of these on a RIGID shop-vac filter and got declined at HD. the cashier said "we only accept competitors coupons". i didn't push it.

the same place let me use $10off $25 lowes facebook giveaway promo coupons 7 days in a row for blinds for my entire house.

last week tried to use a $5 off $35 at lowe's and got shot down. last october they let me use a 20% your entire purchase on $800 worth of tile.

i guess you have to pick your battles.

I have moved several times in the past year (all within Indiana) and each time I get a new address or even just get the new address kit from the P.O. it comes with a $5 off Ace Hardware coupon. (and a 10% off Home Depot, but less relevant)

Might be a nice way to save $10 off $50 even if you have to go through the store twice. Just thought I'd share and I'm gonna call it YMMV since I'm only sure they were available in: Bloomington, IN, La Porte, IN, and Chesterton, IN.

Received hardcopy coupons from mail $5 off without min required. Another coupon $5 off $15. Recently just signed up ace reward

Home Depot will not honor printed competitor coupons now. (Depends on the the cashier though) But that's their general policy now.
