Warning to everyone who wants to PreOrder. Newegg sends the games out the day of release so you will be waiting 2-5 days (depending on your shipping) for the game to arrive. Great deal if you do not care to get it the day of release however.
Did this for Black Ops and MW3. Both arrived 3 days after release. I Joined Slickdeals To Save Money, But I Only Save Money On Deals.

Is it a bad idea to buy a Wii and would be a reasonable price for it? I know it doesn't relate to this topic, but just wondering just incase I might pre-order some Wii games.

Unless there are a couple of games you want to play, I would not waste my money on a Wii. My Wii has existed for the past few years due to it's netflix capabilities and that is it. Zelda Twilight Princess was probably the last game I played on it. Downloaded a couple of old NES games. Wii bowling was fun time to time with the kids but for the most part it was a streaming device in my set-up. Time will tell whether or not I purchase the next generation Nintendo console...very doubtful at this point. |

As for a new Wii console, the historic price low was $99.96 at Walmart last Black Friday. Right now, you could probably get the Wii Super Mario Bros Bundle for $125 to $130 on sale. I don't know how aggressive Nintendo is going to be at lowering the Wii's pricepoint, considering the Wii U will likely launch in November 2012. I would think it'll probably stay between $99.99 and $149.99 because the Wii U is rumored to cost $299.99. |
