PC code - 170273 ($5 off per day, up to $35)
(please look at image attachment below if you're unsure of where to put the codes)
I tried looking at Hotwire/Priceline, but these Hertz codes were the lowest I got. The CDP code gives you the discounted base rate, the PC code gives you an additional $5 off per day up to $35, which will show up when you return the car.
*A note about the CDP - this is a AAA discount. Even though I've been a AAA member, I have NEVER been asked to show my AAA card at Hertz, and the discounts are always applied. For example, I used CDP# 5, along with a PC# on a 5-day Hertz rental (midsize/intermediate) last July - I only paid $62 for everything in the end. The CDP# 5 discount showed as AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah, and even though I'm from Washington state, I used it anyway because those were the codes that I found here on SD. On the Hertz website, I recently found the AAA codes for the different states - click here . I used the different CDP codes in tandem with the PC#170273, and it comes up with the same discount.
Also, you get a better deal if you choose a rental location that is not at the airport or hotel, since they do add an extra fee ($30-$45ymmv) for airports and hotels. And, since I have car insurance and I use my VISA to pay for the rental, I always refuse the LDW (Loss Damage Waiver).
