I'm very odd with games lately. I get all excited for them and then only end up playing a couple hours. I lose patience so quick with games.

Then again, TL2 is already pre-ordered. And debating between GW2 and BL2. Tough choice. I just don't like how you can't cancel a pre-order on GMG.

i got the same. then my credit card company called me immediately to let me authorize the charges. then all is right with the world again.

I got Boderlands on a Steam sale for $5 within a year of its release. I'm waiting on this one. Price will drop fast, probably at the Steam winter sale.

I'm just gonna pre-order on Newegg for $39.99 as I can actually cancel the order there. I'm really not a fan of 'pre-purchasing'.

Odd though, on Gearbox website it states that all pre-orders get the bonus.

I purchased GW2 during the 20% coupon that expired July 31. It took 3 tries but my payment finally went through. Then I received the email, but no key! I made a ticket and they responded in 48 hours to say that they ran out of keys but one would come soon. I got it 2 days later and was able to play the beta stress test without any problems.

I decided to purchase a copy for my dad with this 25% coupon. After trying to order it 3 times, my credit card company sent me a fraud alert. I called them and they flagged my account. Then I purchased again....it showed $45 as the price with the coupon....but then I got a receipt saying that I paid $59.99. I sent in another ticket. Let's hope their customer service is helpful here as well. On the bright side, I did get the second key immediately.

Just snagged the Borderlands 2 deal, paid with PayPal no problem. It was like I only paid $22.50 as I received $15 via PayPal today for participating in an online market research study. Thanks OP!

I guess I had some good luck with this, got it though on the first time. Good price too, I sure hope it works on steam.

For all the people saying boarderlands is like fallout, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Two totally different types, styles and game play.
Just because they are both free-roam (sort of) doesn't make them the same. Each game has its good and bad points to it.
Borderlands is fun and all but nothing beats fallout in my book. You are 100% free to do what you want, item collecting and fun lengthy missions.
Only thing I wish it had was co-op..... *sigh*

Is PCGMR-ALLIN-GREEN a single use code? Ordered one game, then decided to do the BL2 pre-order but once I login it kicks the code out for BL2. The other code is showing expired.

The voucher code PCGMR-ALLIN-GREEN just worked for me.

I'd been trying this for days without success. Each time I'd receive a "Code is Expired," or "Invalid Code" error. For some reason it magically worked this time.

Like the bible says, "Knock a gratuitous amount of times over several days and the door will randomly decide to open for you...."

That's like someone going to work for a day and saying "Oh it's okay that I just bought another $60 game because I practically got it for free because I got $100 today at work"

Is it the size of the lie or the fact that trust was broken?

So yes, over a lousy $2.50 GMG lost a customer - period. The only way they could earn my business back would be to refund me the $2.50 difference - on their own - I'm not being subjected to their poor customer service for a lousy $2.50. If they don't make it right on their own then good riddance.

So as a lesson learned I recommend any future business owners out there remember people will vote with their feet if you mess them over - don't try to get a little over on them here and there - do business straight up and retain loyal customers!
