 Going to check out CINEPOLIS Luxury Cinemas this weekend. can you believe it is $20 a ticket. check the pictures on yelp. You have to pay a premium for reserved luxury reclining leather seats where you can order dinner/drinks/deserts from actual servers with the press of a button. It looks like something to try at least once.  .... .... If it wasn't for the screaming in my head, I'd swear I was Dead.      .......   |

Are they first run movies?
We used to go to a second-run theater that has comfy reclining chairs where you can order food (they came around to take your order). Since the movies aren't first run, tickets are $5 or so. |

With evening shows at $12.50, I would pay $20 for that kind of service. The closest full-service theater to us is in Houston. Two hours is a bit much of a drive.

I saw the dark knight rises at the Del Mar location, well worth it imo. The seats are very comfy and no waiting in line. Will go again. They have these in Mexico too. Same service and everything but for $10 a ticket.
