Deal Details

I've been getting PM's since I posted THIS DEAL a few weeks ago about recommending a good deal on a budget tablet that had a better / nicer screen.
People did not like the 800x480 resolution of the other one, so I've been looking for deal with the same features or better and a screen that was at least 1024x resolution.

I found this deal and it's solid because of the price, the screen, the ability to charge via USB, the included screen protector, and the expedited shipping for free....among other things.

Cube U18GT Elite - $89.99 Shipped Free
Deal is now $94.99, but the custom Cube leather case and Free DHL shipping are included until sold out.
Here's the LINK [in4dealz.com] for the deal page.

Cube is an actual, "branded" tablet, not a generic Chinese knock-off.
They make a quality product and are very, very well known in the Android geek world. Stick Out Tongue
This should be considerably better quality than your standard no-name budget device.

Highlights:
  • 7 inch, Five-point, Capacitive, Touch screen, Ultra-crisp, 1024*600 Resolution
  • RK2918 CPU, Cortex A8 processor, clocked at up to 1.2 GHz. Vivante GC800 GPU
  • 1GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB NAND Flash Storage
  • Android 4.0 OS, Ice Cream Sandwich, Built-in Google Play Store (Android Market), can download hundreds of thousands of free and paid apps
  • 1080P decoding, supports 3D accelerated graphics
  • Supports WIFI and External 3G
  • Front-facing camera, Built-in HDMI capability with port
  • Can charge via USB Cable
  • Support Skype Video Chat

*Sidenote*
I would have posted it for McBub, (Big GrinBig Grin) just to give the haters something to scream about, but McBub is more than 20% higher than this site because of a clearance price.

Looks pretty good. How's the swipe and load time on this?

I never used an android product. This would be a good one to start with. Does anyone know any good jailbroke reading apps like "Goodreader" for Apple?

Check the videos.
It's pretty incredible how far budget tablets have come since I bought my first one and posted a deal for it about a year and a half ago.

As for eBook readers, I'm a huge fan of Aldiko.
As for, "jailbroken" you're in for a big surprise at what is possible on an Android device if you're coming from an Apple OS world. nod

RAM is 1GB, which is plenty and the GPU is Vivante GC800, which is why the graphics look so good on this.

Check the videos on the deal page, I just got done watching 3 of them and it handled everything pretty nicely.

Not sure about GPS, I didn't see anything mentioning it and I would be pretty certain that at this price it is not going to have one, BUT - there are more than a few apps that are perfect for non-GPS devices and are nearly as good as the standard navigation sequences.

In4dealz doesn't list IPS. If it indeed does have IPS that makes it a really good deal. The GPU seems kinda weak though.

Cube is a branded tablet. Does anyone have any forums group links or independent reviews of "Cube" or the Chinese Vendor In4dealz? I must be uninformed.
