Hah, I resemble that -- sitting here typing on my 1992 era IBM Model M style keyboard that I borrowed from the storeroom dust bunny collection at work(click, click, and loud click). I have terrific difficulty typing on a mush-board and probably is my disdain for almost every laptop I've tried.

That said I truly miss my Northgate Omnikey Ultra that I accidently banged up watching a sporting event that didn't end well. One of these days I'm going to pay to get it refurbed by one of those Ebay guys or maybe finally shell out for one of the Avants

They look the same probably because Xarmor sold the mold to QPAD.

This is actually a rebranded QPAD MK-80, There's also the Monoprice backlit macro keyboard [monoprice.com] which is a rebranded QPAD MK-85.

No it is from an original PC with the original connection; previous to the PS/2. I did get one used that has a PS/2 connection so I will investigate using it.

Wow you are so jaded, get out of your house once in a while. I said I hit that speed, not that I type it regularly, for maybe 30-60 seconds. There are a lot of people who type faster than me but I am in the 99.8-99.9 percentile.

I would love to pickup the backlit one but reg price is two times this deal. Will wait for that one to go on sale.

This keyboard is a very hot deal for developers and all-around computer users. I don't know why it hasn't received the fire yet, especially considering Monoprice's quality and excellent shipping services to west coast folks like me.

Just wanted to add that this is a fantastic keyboard and I would have no issues what so ever recommending this monoprice rebranded one because of that. It's a very heavy and sturdy keyboard with thick braided cables. Coming from a Logitech G15 (first gen), I have no regrets.
