Saying that, I love mine but my feet have always been in good condition. They have gotten ridiculously strong since I started using them. 46KDLW5150 for $800!!!

REI has ran this particular Model/Color for this price several times now....was hoping to see some different color choices come up. Seems like they must have a lot of this one!

I was looking for some Vibram's but couldn't find any in my size. Ended up getting a pair of Fila Skele-toes 2.0 for $21 today at Dicks Sporting Goods ($29.98 on sale - $10 off $25 purchase coupon). Very comfy, and for the price, I can't complain at all

Soak them overnight in white vinegar and water, then scrub out the inside a bit with an old toothbrush to remove any flaked off skin cells, which is where a lot of the smell comes from.
Mine are usually good for a month without needing a scrub, but if I wear them in the water a lot maybe once a week because the lake mud smells lousy, There are some cheap toe socks on amazon, and the ratings seem good but I think you might want to order a larger size to wear with socks. |

I had to size up 2 sizes for me. Vibrams said I needed a 38, but they didn't have a 38 so I took my chances with a 40 and it is a perfect fit. Well. I THINK it is perfect since I didnd't get to try on a 38 or 39. It is quite snug and comfy for me tho. I don't run with them btw. Just weight lifting in gym.

I own a pair of 42s and they are slightly too big for everyday use, however perfect for running since your feet tend to expand when you run. Took a chunk of time off my miles. Smell is typically not an issue. Just wash them and let them sun dry for a few hours. In for another pair.

It looks like the Gray/Palm/Clay color is the same for both versions, so I might try that out (maybe get one in 41 and 42 just to see). Thanks for the suggestion!
