Ummmm...has anyone watched Say Yes to the Dress, season 8 episode 15

The problem with a budget wedding is all the family members and friends you wind up hurting because you can't include them all.

In our case, we had to get married in the US as DH was on a work visa at the time and getting married in Ireland would have been a big problem because of his status. Which worked out for the best as that was our excuse for not inviting people over, too many of them wouldn't have been able to fly over so we only had our parents at the JP ceremony. If we'd had the wedding in Ireland, the guest list would have been well over 100 people.

I figured that as well, but still saying, you see some couples out there that go into deep debt just for that day. And I honestly atm, I cannot see myself getting into that situation.

10 years? Hasn't the INS stopped checking to see if it is a marriage of convenience yet? Or are you pulling a "House"?

How about George Costanza Syndrome? Doesn't have the same ring as Crazy Cat Lady but it's the best I can come up with, this late in the evening.
