A most useful app for burglars as Democrats are 40% less likely to keep a gun at home.
http://www.gallup.com/poll/21496/...crats.aspx ETA: Nevermind. Gun ownership has spiked among democrats, they are 27% less likely to keep a gun at home. http://www.gallup.com/poll/150353...-1993.aspx If I appear to be ignoring your posts, it's probably because you are on my ignore list.

I do. Making it easier for someone to find a reason to knock on my door or spam my mailbox to sell me something (including ideas) is bothersome. I'm not registered Democrat, so this particular app doesn't affect me, but I could see another one being developed to use voter registration information to find houses that might need some persuasion toward one party or another.

I find it bizarre someone in the campaign would say that this is a good idea.
The truth: Management at IRS can blame themselves and how they have chaotic and poor management, but God-forbid you, or I, or anybody else in America gets audited and doesn't have their ducks in order and s***-together, your ass is going to court or jail.
Shout out to Congressman Mike Kelly for stating it as it is... Link [realclearpolitics.com] |

And since we're on slickdeals, I've often wondered if folk arming their homes were just looking to save money by moving downmarket. It's unclear where anybody ever got the idea that a free market results in low prices when the entire point of capitalism is to maximize profit and low prices are less profitable. Therefore the natural proclivity should be to collude and fix prices at the highest sustainable point.
Oh, it's illegal to collude and fix prices and whatnot as deemed by the gubmint? Who are they to say how a free market should work when it's a matter of divinity per Adam Smith whose book nobody bothered to read? |

You'll never see this on Faux News:
I take it back--you might see this on Faux News if the Obama campaign was participating, but they'd claim it was part of an Obama conspiracy to put people in concentration camps. You'll never see it on Fox news because educated viewers know that both campaigns are already employing such measures. We're not stupid. I don't need an article spoon-feeding me information about how campaigns are trying to use technology to their advantage. Well, duh!!!!! How did you feel about the White House's multiple attempts to get people to narc on each other over "fishy" comments that insulted Mr. Obama's track record? Feel free to send my moniker to flag@whitehouse.gov since most of the democrats here think that I'm a domestic terrorist, because I encourage balancing the budget and ending the welfare state. Your comment does nothing for TP other than highlight your partisan fear-mongering when the democrats do the exact same damn thing. |

Or is your "knowledge" really just faith? |

Link? How about Links? My "knowledge" is what I read at the beginning of the summer and just confirmed what any presidential campaign in 2012 worth a damn would do. http://www.politico.com/news/stor...77213.html The depth and breadth of the Obama campaign’s 2012 digital operation — from data mining to online organizing — reaches so far beyond anything politics has ever seen, experts maintain, that it could impact the outcome of a close presidential election. It makes the president’s much-heralded 2008 social media juggernaut — which raised half billion dollars and revolutionized politics — look like cavemen with stone tablets. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/a...ch-up.html Four years ago Barack Obama’s presidential campaign set an impressive new standard for using social media and technology to harness votes.http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/09/tec...index.html (CNN) -- In July, KDNuggets.com, an online newsite focused on data mining and analytics software, ran an unusual listing in its jobs section. |

but but but...i thought obama was Saint Obama The Pure? surely he would not use the tools already used by any marketing agency...surely he will run a clean, honest campaign devoid of lies, spin, out of context quotes, and smears?
I'm shattered to read that even he will use marketing data research that any company uses for marketing its products ![]() The One has lost his sparkle in my pure innocent eyes...I'm going to have to rethink voting for him this time around
