I Quote from the website: " Disclosures: LCD displays may have cosmetic imperfections that appear as small bright or dark spots. This is common to all LCD displays used in products by all vendors and is not specific to any one vendor or brand. Below are the acceptable amounts of "dot defects" for LCD displays that we sell: 20-Inch to 24-Inch: Total Defects: 8 Bright or Dark Dots (random): 4 Bright or Dark Dots (2 adjacent): 2 Bright or Dark Dots (3 adjacent): 0 Minimum distance between defects: 15 mm (bright to bright dots) Minimum distance between defects: 5 mm (dark to dark dots) " I believe on refurb models, it might be more likely to get dead pixels. |

My setup is similar, but I used a monoprice mounts that have a slight vertical adjustment (useless as major vertical, good for minor adjustment) as well for about the same price or maybe less when is was on sale.
I mounted garage gear tracks to walls from the lowes deal a few year back. Bought a gear track wall cabinet mount set for $20, then screwed the monoprice mounts to the cabinet mounts plates. The cabinet mounts plates go into the gear track and can slide horizontally. Note that i have two 27 inch monitors and one 23 and like to rotate them 90s depending on what i am doing. The sliding is required as the monoprice mount arms are a little short side for the larger monitors and dont have allot play when angled. Currently using a usb adapter for the third monitor since the mboard does not support multiple video cards. Might change this around with a new display port laptop if the price is right. I would have thought 3+ monitor video solution would have been cheaper and more standard than it is by now. To do it right you really need to know your stuff and plan accordingly. If not you get stuck with usb video adapter on a 23" monitor that just about pushes its limit on resolution. Last edited by thekingofspain; 08-06-2012 at 07:39 AM.. Reason: fixed quote |
