I was just looking to buy something on Dell. I have an expiring $28 Dell gift card. So I basically ended up paying $2 to get crappy software and $50 gift card. Now I can turn the $50 card into a xbox game.
That program digs into your pc like a tick. You shouldn't need another software just to remove your antivurus.
And Apple shouldn't charge what they do for their products lol. But if you have a stubborn install of Mcafee anything, you gotta use what you gotta use to fix the problem. I wished no one had to, but if it works...
I just installed McAfee on my laptop and it completely quit working. It would freeze up and shut down and then my laptop said it could not restart. I had to go on in safe mode and remove McAfee and now it works great again. I do not recommend this to anyone!

mcafee, one of the worst antivirus programs to date. you would have to pay me a lot more to put that on my PC though .
Great deal, if you are looking to spend on Dell soon, or if the stacking thing still works.
Remember, promo card expires after 90 days, you can only use up to 2 gift cards per purchase and promo cards cannot be combined.

u cannot STACK them.
youd have to make two seperate purchases
The limits on the use of promo cards are not a limit of the cards themselves but of the Dell ordering systems.
For online orders there is a limit of one gift card per order. It does not matter whether the gift card is a promo card or a paid card: only one gift card can be used per order. The gift card can but does not need to completely cover the cost of the purchase.
For phone orders there is a limit of three payments. The three payments can be promo card, promo card and promo card if the three promo cards completely cover the cost of the purchase. If the three promo cards do not completely cover the cost of the purchase, then because of the three payment limit, only two promo cards can be used on the purchase: promo card, promo card, and another form of payment.
From posts in other threads about Dell gift cards here on SD apparently there are some phone reps who do not know how to apply three gift cards to an order and there are other phone reps who believe that gift cards can not completely cover the cost of a purchase and require another form of payment.
While promo cards can not be CONSOLIDATED (for example turn two $50 promo cards into one $100 promo card (this can be done with paid gift cards)) they can be STACKED (use more than one on an order) on phone orders.
And finally, there is no need to tell the phone rep that the gift cards in question are promo gift cards.
