Helps clean up any stray stuff file/registry-wise or to force uninstall a stubborn Mcafee program. |

I just installed McAfee on my laptop and it completely quit working. It would freeze up and shut down and then my laptop said it could not restart. I had to go on in safe mode and remove McAfee and now it works great again. I do not recommend this to anyone!

For online orders there is a limit of one gift card per order. It does not matter whether the gift card is a promo card or a paid card: only one gift card can be used per order. The gift card can but does not need to completely cover the cost of the purchase. For phone orders there is a limit of three payments. The three payments can be promo card, promo card and promo card if the three promo cards completely cover the cost of the purchase. If the three promo cards do not completely cover the cost of the purchase, then because of the three payment limit, only two promo cards can be used on the purchase: promo card, promo card, and another form of payment. From posts in other threads about Dell gift cards here on SD apparently there are some phone reps who do not know how to apply three gift cards to an order and there are other phone reps who believe that gift cards can not completely cover the cost of a purchase and require another form of payment. While promo cards can not be CONSOLIDATED (for example turn two $50 promo cards into one $100 promo card (this can be done with paid gift cards)) they can be STACKED (use more than one on an order) on phone orders. And finally, there is no need to tell the phone rep that the gift cards in question are promo gift cards. Last edited by bpvh; 08-06-2012 at 04:40 PM.. |

If I buy two software packages for $60, will I get two gift cards? Or do I need to split the orders?
I have a Dell promo giftcard for $50 expiring on 8/12 and there is absoutely nothing reasonably priced to spend it on so this could be a way for me to extend it? (by buying the software with it) Also - Is this the only software eligible for this offer? |
