2nd Credit Card for Student
Hi,
I got my first credit card a little over a year ago through Bank of America. It has a $500 limit, very few benefits, and a crazy high APR of course. I use it a lot though and have been very good about paying it off and what not, and have never missed any payments. I mainly got it to just start me off and develop some credit.
However, now I'm wanting something with a higher limit and more benefits. What would you guys suggest? I saw several posts saying to get 3 cards, but I would really prefer to just stick to 2 total, as I already have tons of checking/saving bank accounts due to various school accounts and what not, and I'd like to keep my wallet from exploading with cards. So I was hoping maybe one was better than the others?
Or maybe my best option is to stay with this one card and try and get a higher limit and maybe they can "upgrade" be to a card with more benefits? I have no idea how all this works.
Anyways, I was just wondering what you guys would recommend? I shop a lot online via Amazon, eBay, etc. and don't do too much shopping at B&M places other than Kohls and Sears occasionally. I work full time and go to school only part time, so my income is decent.
If there is any other pertinent information that I missed, feel free to ask.
