2 Custom built PC's - Which one should I get / Advice appreciated
Good morning SD'ers,
So either my mb or cpu went out on my 4/5 year old desktop I had built. Instead of figuring out what went out & replacing the mb/cpu, I was looking at just getting a new system since my current build is outdated for what I need.
Originally I was going to order a new system & put together myself but I was looking on my local craigslist and there are 2 decent systems for sale & if I can save myself some money I wouldn't mind going this route for now & buying a "newer" system & I can upgrade parts in the future.
I'm looking at these 2 pc's, both their asking prices are ~$600 but are open to offers / negotiate.

PC # 2
Core i7 920
Gigabyte Ga-ex58-ud3r-sli 1366 socket ATX
6 GB Ram
XFX gtx 260 core 216 896mb 448 bit gddr3

750 watt power supply
Apevia cruiser X2 case
PC #1's owner told me "I have had it overclocked to 4.4 ghz, any higher than that and it wasn't stable and it didn't run hot. It has to be overclocked using the multiplier, because the ram only works up to about 1600 mhz, after that it becomes completely unstable."
Any advice/suggestions on which PC I should choose or if I should just build my own, what I should offer, etc is greatly appreciate, thanks for reading & have a great day.
The processor in #1 is so much more powerful than the CPU in #2, that it's a no brainer.
See the scores below.
What's more, the 2600K is a 2nd generation Intel i7 that has built in graphics, so if ever you had problems with your video card, the computer would still work.
