where do you see that the cards ship in September?
Also, what kind of psu is required for a 6870? I see newegg says 500w, is this really necessary? Last edited by gaughan333; 08-07-2012 at 02:05 PM.. |

Per the comments AMD which is partnering with Hidden Path will be supplying the Cards on September 1 so you will get your graphics card in September. You do not have to pay the shipping fee unless you live outside the US (Not sure about Canada). If the company cannot raise the 250,000 needed your money will be refunded and you keep the game and dlc codes. Minimum for the 6870 is 105 (15 + 90). Hope that clears everything.

OK. I got the 7770 deal for $90 from Amazon. I still haven't opened it yet. Should I send that back and get this 6870 instead? Since I'll have to pay return shipping, let's say $10. Is this card worth $25 more?

Honestly I don't think it is taxing my PS at all -- but if you have a power-hungry CPU or lots of drives, you might need more.

Doh, $105 i mean. Can't wait! Orcs 2 has not been a letdown so far either.
700 Total SSD's handled between two jobs. Plextor M3s, M5s, Crucial M4s, Intel 320s, and Samsung 470/830s are reliable. 2 M4 failure among ~200 of them. Sandforce Sata II controlled drives, 6 RMAs among ~175 units. There, now you know why I post like I do, professional, personal experience.
If you are going to ask "what deal was that?" or" where can I find out about deal so and so?" use the search feature on SD or Google first. |

6xxx is the series x870 is the improvement level. This usually matters more than the series therefore a 7450 is much slower than a 4850 (again, IIRC) |
