How is a brand new $300 HTC evo phone at $239 is not a good deal? So what if they don't have the $25 plan, it's $10 more and worth it in my opinion.

You misspelled Virgin in the title and it's called the "HTC Evo V 4G". Thanks for posting this, I just received a new one I bought off eBay and wish I would've waited for this kind of deal. Repped.

Optimus V w/ grandfathered $25 plan FTW
As much as I want a phone with a better screen, I figure that the ten bucks a month I've saving staying grandfathered is paying off my Galaxy tab (which I can just wifi tether to my Optimus)  I know cool story bro |

Thats funny because I actually get BETTER service with Virgin Mobile than when I had with Sprint, even though VM is basically Sprint.. I live near the dirty border to Mexico, and when I had Sprint I would occasionally get Roaming service which pretty much wouldn't allow me to do anything (I would get the most peculiar spanish crosstalk and non-working texts/data) With Virgin Mobile I never "roam" here

i dont understand the need to pay such high prices for these phones, this one will be considered out of date my thanksgiving. ive had the same semi-smart phone (lg touch) for almost 3 years and have no need to update. got it free with a family plan. interms of android and whatnot, thats what my tablets are for

This phone benefits from Sprint's WiMax network. I'm really happy with my LG G2x with T-Mobile, but the WiMax network in neighborhood in SF is pretty comprehensive.

For those who are on the $35 per month plan, how much 4G can you use under that plan before you are capped? I've been looking at youtube speed tests and some areas are getting very impressive download speeds with VM/WIMAX 4G. So I am curious if the cap is greater or lesser than the 5GB cap on Tmobile's $30 a month plan. Thanks in advance...
