Any system that does any reasonable buffering should be able to compensate for moments when the stream in real-time hits 60 which should be only a few moments.


And that explains youtube as well. They try to buffer the whole clip, so they'll run at max of 50 eventhough the average realtime needed is less. They use the extra bandwidth to buffer the remaining clip to your PC. So instead of buffering a few moments like all devices should do at a minimum, they'll buffer upto the end of the clip which can be several minutes.

Up the end to a router? So you have almost an extender but its wireless?

Would something like this be ok to use if I want to move my xbox360 from upstairs to downstairs? My router is currently upstairs right beside the xbox. Will I be taking too much of a signal loss for gaming?
