You most likely want to go to a B&M Golfsmith to have a proper fitting. The price will be higher for you but nothing beats getting a set of custom clubs made just for you![/QUOTE]
Just researched a bit online (imagine that!) and the custom club recommended for my height is .25" shorter...so maybe I'll just go swing them at the B&M and get a good feel for them. http://www.taylormadeg |

You guys are breaking the bank! Between the Callaway warehouse sale and this deal, I have a full set of Diablo clubs.
 BTW, I am 6 3" and I prefer normal sized clubs. I have a +1 set I am happy to be selling soon. (note: I have only been playing a short time) |

I have never played golf in my life, but am looking to learn the game. My gold experience is going to the driving range with friends or playing mini golf. Is this a good deal for a newbie or would this be overkill?

If you are looking to learn and already enjoy golfing, I would say these are the right set to start out with. They look awesome, easy to hit.. a worthwhile investment. Good luck with your game. |

Some may disagree that newbies should stay off the driver until later...IMO, hitting a driver is fun so, without it.. it's less fun. |

Bought these last week with a 15% off coupon. Just had it price matched, took off about $16.50 from what I paid. Thanks! BTW, clubs are great. I suck and still hit these very solid. Good intro club if you're getting started or can't hit your buddy's blades well. Oh, and when you hit it thin, your hands don't ring up to your skull. Big plus. |

I am about to upgrade to forged. Can you offer some advice on a good but affordable set? less than $350 on sale hopefully. Me: Long hitter at about 14-15 handicap. |
