I got these irons on the $220 ebay deal a couple weeks ago and the $50 Diablo Octane driver deal. Now I need some fairway woods and/or hybrids to help round out the set. Anybody know anything worth applying this coupon to? Since its on orders over $125 i'd prefer to get a pair of woods or something like that to maximize my value

Is the promo code dead as I am seeing this message "EXCLUDED FROM PROMOTION DUE TO MANUFACTURER RESTRICTIONS", yet when you go search for this product on the exclusion list for the coupon, it is not on there. Seems like Golfsmith is trying to change the terms on the fly.

ended up trading them in for what I paid on them toward a set of taylormade burner 2.0's and gained a club length plus these are MUCH more forgiving. I didn't really lose any spin on the ball as i've always had a very high ball flight so even with a 5-6 iron at 190 yards i can usually stop it on the green as long as my ball strike was good. |

I went with the Taylormade RBZ irons instead... these are supposed to fly. And, with $90 off + 7% cb + 3% cc points, I think it was a pretty good deal.

On the phone with CS now. Guy instantly said no problem on the credit. Great service right there. So if you guy bought last week when the coupon was 15% off like I did, make sure you call in and get credited the 5% for the current 20% offer.

Customer Service 1-800-925-7709 Monday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm (CST) I had to wait a few minutes, but the guy was super nice, and getting the credit took all of 2 minutes. Good luck fellas! |

I was getting the same error as the above posters when I tried to make my purchase online. Although the code stopped working as other posters commented, I called in using the phone number at the top of the golfsmith page. I had to wait about 5 minutes to get on the phone with someone. When I did get a customer service rep on the line, I told him which clubs I wanted and that there was a promo code which was no longer working due to manufacturer's restrictions, but that these clubs don't seem to be on their restricted items. He knew which promo code I was talking about before I even gave it to him, and he gave me the additional 20% off. If you are really looking to pick up these clubs, it might be worth your time to give them a call.
