They are changing into subscription model (for access over the internet only, not for local access). Splashtop will increase the price of the app to 9.99 after the limited free period, as per their press release: http://www.broadcastnewsroom.com/...re-2140837
While Splashtop 1 HD don't have this subscription fee.

not Compatible with Samsung SII on sprint . Wonder why it says its for mobile devices when it doesnt even work with one of the latest Smart phones on the market

I see it as free but its incompatible for all my devices which include a droid razr, rezound, galaxy nexus, and droid x.
