Yeah, I've had it happen. Usually for low dollar, grocery items, like food or something they can't return anyway.
One time I was sent the wrong variety of tea bags or something, they sent me the correct ones and told me not to send back the others.
One of the things that makes their customer service awesome. But if you abuse it, they won't hesitate to flag your account or ban you all together.
hmm.. interesting. Food I can understand how they would just say "keep it." But this happened to me with a brand new computer accessory. Anyone else have something non-food that you may have been credited back for? Would be interesting to see if I there are specific "tagged" items that they don't ask back for.
I requested a return for 2 canisters of Optimum Nutrition BCAA powder, as it is some of the most vile stuff I have ever tasted. One of the canisters was still sealed. The seller issued me a full refund ($~46) sans the shipping and told me to keep both canisters. On the other hand, I have had Amazon direct require me to return a couple cheap halogen bulbs ($~7) that arrived broken.
