Because a phone is more vital for everyday living, communication for work/family life is important so having a battery that lasts most of the day is essential. A tablet is just a toy for most people needed to surf the web, read, play games and keep entertained.

Sorry, but I'm not sure where you're getting the specs not being as good. The dual core OMAP processor is plenty capable compared to the tegra 2 and doesn't have the 1080 hi profile playback issues. You also get an 8" 4:3 screen with 1024x768 res so you get more useful real estate for everything besides HD content, and HD content will be inline with a 7" 16:9 or 16:10 screen. The battery lasts a bit longer. It has full size usb, hdmi, and microSD as well as a kickstand that comes in handy. Picked up two of them and my niece skypes on it all the time. I'd take the G9 over this any day of the week, and I posted a deal on this just a bit ago. If you wanted to knock it, it has 512mb of RAM which hasn't hindered me yet. Then again, I'm usually only bouncing between three different programs. Generally email, the web and some other app.

TU, got one, cheapest dual core i could find and the rear camera isn't so bad either, will report back on its condition once I get it, if i get it this month at all...

Man, I ordered 8/10 still processing. What could possibly take so long? Amazon and Newegg get me stuff with 2-3 days of ordering ridiculous. Does anyone know where they ship from ? I think they are based out NY

This was my first and will be my last order from 1saleaday... Same situation your in and I find it unacceptable for any U.S based online retailer to take this long to ship. I hope when I receive the tablet that it is in good condition.

Your right I've gotten things from China faster. Funny thing is that I ordered a Tricyle off ebay from 1SaleAday for my daughter this week on 08/13 and received it today on 8/17. So they are obviously not slow at everything just somethings but your right its super annoying

Also waiting since 8/10. If they are shipping out of NY, well, I'm also in NY so makes no sense. I've read somewhere that they are out of FL, but who knows. It's rediculous that this should take so long...international is often faster than this.

I'm wondering, though...are they just having Acer or the refurb facility drop ship these, or does 1SAD actually have stock? Really not impressed....my 1st order with them shipped within a couple days, not a couple weeks.

I've ordered from 1saleaday many times and have mixed results on shipping times. Of course the more I want to get it in my hands, the longer they seem to take. I am hoping it is shipped by Friday which is within their FAQ shipping times.

It is known they dropship sometimes. When I bought this I was aware of that, and wouldn't have minded if it came in 2-4 weeks, as I was in no rush to get it.

Mine arrived in about 10-12 days after I placed the order.

Yeah our order from 1SaleADay says ships in 7-10 Days. We ordered 8/10 and its now 8/22 do they count weekends in your 10-12 days where did they ship from ? Hoping I get this before leaving for vacation next week but looking bleek.

I could have sworn the item's page said "ships within 7 business days" just below all the specs when I ordered it; but when they sent me the order receipt, it suddenly became "within 7 to 10 business days". That's my problem as well...I'm leaving town, and I'd like to have it before I go...at least to be able to check it out and make sure it's not doa or defective.
